Prose of Soul Love

If I told you I loved you, would you carry the burden? If I am to yearn, would you bear your heart in return? I only know that with you I am walking on the ocean floor where only we exist. And without you, I am the scattered remains of a thousand broken ships. If my soul cannot walk freely by your side, then I am a prisoner of the stars. And if I must send each burning sun to where the darkness swallows, and if no light remains except that of your aura, then I shall gladly live in the comfort of nothing, in the cold of the night and for only your embrace. If I am at death’s door, let your face be the last I see. If I am a ghost, let me haunt you in worship. If I am reborn, let it be for us to love again. I am for you and you for I. And what a love so great that I shall gladly throw away the key to any cell we build together.
